Section 3301(1)(B) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking 12302, or 12304 and inserting 12301(h), 12302, 12304, 12304a, or 12304b . The amendment made by subsection
(a)shall— take effect on the date that is one year after the date of the enactment of this Act; apply with respect to assistance provided under chapter 33 of such title on and after the date that is one year after the date of the enactment of this Act; and apply with respect to any member of a reserve component of the Armed Forces who serves or has served on active duty under section 12301(h), 12304a, or 12304b of title 10, United States Code, before, on, or after the date of the enactment of this Act.
