Sec. 225. Provision of information on health care providers of Department of Veterans Affairs to State medical boards

Notwithstanding section 552a of title 5, United States Code, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall, with respect to each health care provider of the Department of Veterans Affairs that violates a requirement of the medical license of the health care provider after the date of the enactment of this Act, provide to the medical board of each State in which the health care provider is licensed or practices all relevant information contained in the State Licensing Board Reporting File or any successor file of the Department with respect to such violation. The Secretary shall provide the information required in subsection
(a)to a medical board described in such subsection notwithstanding that such board may not have formally requested such information from the Department.
