Section 7451(a)(2) of title 38, United States Code, is amended— by redesignating subparagraph
(B)as subparagraph (C); by inserting after subparagraph
(A)the following new subparagraph (B): Physician assistant. ; and in subparagraph (C), as redesignated by paragraph (1), by striking and registered nurse and inserting registered nurse, and physician assistant . The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall take effect on the date that is one year after the date of the enactment of this Act.
