Sec. 203. Priority of medal of honor recipients in health care system of Department of Veterans Affairs

Section 1705(a) of title 38, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking the period at the end and inserting the following: and veterans who were awarded the medal of honor under section 3741, 6241, or 8741 of title 10 or section 491 of title 14. ; and in paragraph (3), by striking veterans who were awarded the medal of honor under section 3741, 6241, or 8741 of title 10 or section 491 of title 14, . The priority of enrollment of medal of honor recipients in the system of annual patient enrollment established and operated under section 1705(a) of such title, as amended by paragraph (1), shall apply to each such recipient, regardless of the date on which the medal is awarded.
Section 1710(a)(2)(D) of such title is amended by inserting after war the following: , who was awarded the medal of honor under section 3741, 6241, or 8741 of title 10 or section 491 of title 14, . Section 1710B(c)(2) of such title is amended— in subparagraph (B), by striking or ; in subparagraph (C), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or ; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: to a veteran who was awarded the medal of honor under section 3741, 6241, or 8741 of title 10 or section 491 of title 14. .
Section 1722A(a)(3) of such title is amended— in subparagraph (B), by striking or ; in subparagraph (C), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or ; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: to a veteran who was awarded the medal of honor under section 3741, 6241, or 8741 of title 10 or section 491 of title 14. .
