Section 1020 of the Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2014 ( 33 U.S.C. 2223 ) is amended— in subsection (a)— by striking the subsection designation and heading and all that follows through Subject to subsection
(b)and inserting the following: Subject to subsection
(b); and by adding at the end the following: On request from a non-Federal interest, the credit described in subsection
(a)may be applied at reasonable intervals as those intervals occur and are identified as being in excess of the required non-Federal cost share prior to completion of the study or project if the credit amount is verified by the Secretary. ; by striking subsection (d); and by redesignating subsection
(e)as subsection (d).
