Of the unobligated balances available to the Department of Justice, the following funds are hereby rescinded, not later than September 30, 2017, from the following accounts in the specified amounts— Working Capital Fund , $289,743,000; Federal Bureau of Investigation, Salaries and Expenses , $181,191,000; State and Local Law Enforcement Activities, Office on Violence Against Women, Violence Against Women Prevention and Prosecution Programs , $5,000,000; State and Local Law Enforcement Activities, Office of Justice Programs , $20,000,000;
State and Local Law Enforcement Activities, Community Oriented Policing Services , $10,000,000; Legal Activities, Assets Forfeiture Fund , $304,000,000 of which $152,000,000 is permanently rescinded; United States Marshals Service, Federal Prisoner Detention , $24,000,000; and Drug Enforcement Administration, Salaries and Expenses , $6,192,000. The Department of Justice shall submit to the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the Senate a report no later than September 1, 2017, specifying the amount of each rescission made pursuant to subsections
(a)and (b).
