Section 1452(b)(3)(A) of the Safe Drinking Water Act ( 42 U.S.C. 300j–12(b)(3)(A) ) is amended— in clause (ii), by striking and at the end; in clause (iii), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and by inserting at the end the following: improve— real-time continuous on-site electronic monitoring; or transmission of testing results; and improve the ability of a public water system— to protect human health; and to comply with this title in manner that is affordable. .
