Section 303(c)(2) of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act ( 33 U.S.C. 1313(c)(2) ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this subparagraph, and occasionally thereafter, the Administrator, in consultation with the States, shall publish guidance to be used by the States for developing and implementing peak wet weather-related water quality standards to accommodate peak wet weather discharges. .
