Section 1848(s)(1)(C) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1395w–4(s)(1)(C) ) is amended— by redesignating clauses
(i)through
(iv)as subclauses
(I)through (IV), respectively, and indenting appropriately; by striking and inserting “ Consideration .—In developing Consideration .— Subject to clause (ii), in developing ; and by adding at the end the following new clause: Consistent with this subsection, the Secretary shall ensure that the plan identifying measure development priorities and timelines developed under this subsection addresses relevant gaps in measures with respect to telehealth services, remote patient monitoring services, and the use of such services to address health disparities (as described in section 1890(b)(1)(B)(ii)) that are not otherwise addressed through existing quality measures. .
