Section 3(25) of the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006 ( 20 U.S.C. 2302(25) ) is amended by striking using scientifically based research standards, as defined in section 102 and inserting in accordance with the principles of scientific research, as defined in section 102 . Section 9529(b) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 7909(b) ) is amended by striking section 153(a)(5) and inserting section 153(a)(6) . Section 681(a)(1) of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act ( 20 U.S.C. 1481(a)(1) ) is amended by striking section 178(c) and inserting section 177(c) .
