Notwithstanding the requirements of 49 U.S.C. 5334 and 2 CFR 200.313, conditions imposed as a result of any and all Federal public transportation assistance related to and for the use, encumbrance, transfer or disposition of property originally built as a prototype having icebreaking capabilities will be fully and completely satisfied by the property’s use— in the areas of Arctic research; to map the Arctic; to collect and analyze data in the Arctic; to support activities that further Arctic exploration, research, or development; or for educational purposes or humanitarian relief efforts.
