Sec. 4719. Energy Security Act repeals

Subtitle A of title II of the Energy Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 8811 et seq. ) is repealed. Subtitle B of title II of the Energy Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 8831 et seq. ) is repealed. Section 271 of the Energy Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 8871 ) is repealed. The table of contents for the Energy Security Act ( Public Law 96–294 ; 94 Stat. 611) is amended— by striking the items relating to subtitle A and B of title II; by striking the item relating to section 204 and inserting the following:
Sec. 204. Funding. ; and by striking the item relating to section 271. Section 203 of the Biomass Energy and Alcohol Fuels Act of 1980 ( 42 U.S.C. 8802 ) is amended— by striking paragraph (16); and by redesignating paragraphs
(17)through
(19)as paragraphs
(16)through (18), respectively. Section 204 of the Energy Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 8803 ) is amended— in the section heading, by striking ; and for subtitles A and B in subsection (a)— in paragraph (1), by adding and after the semicolon at the end; in paragraph (2), by striking ; and at the end and inserting a period; and by striking paragraph (3).
