Section 302(a) of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000 ( 16 U.S.C. 7142(a) ) is amended— in paragraph (2)— by inserting and law enforcement patrols after including firefighting ; and by striking and at the end; by redesignating paragraph
(3)as paragraph (4); and by inserting after paragraph
(2)the following new paragraph (3): to cover training costs and equipment purchases directly related to the emergency services described in paragraph (2); and .
