Section 201 of the Emergency Energy Conservation Act of 1979 ( 42 U.S.C. 8501 ) is amended— in the section heading, by striking ; Findings and by striking subsection (a); and by striking
(b). Purposes.— Section 221 of the Emergency Energy Conservation Act of 1979 ( 42 U.S.C. 8521 ) is repealed. Section 222 of the Emergency Energy Conservation Act of 1979 ( 42 U.S.C. 8522 ) is repealed. Section 241 of the Emergency Energy Conservation Act of 1979 ( 42 U.S.C. 8531 ) is repealed. The table of contents for the Emergency Energy Conservation Act of 1979 ( Public Law 96–102 ; 93 Stat. 749) is amended— by striking the item relating to section 201 and inserting the following: Sec. 201. Purposes. ; and by striking the items relating to sections 221, 222, and 241.
