In this Act— the term eating disorder includes anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and other specified feeding or eating disorders, as defined in the fifth edition of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders , published by the American Psychiatric Association or, if applicable, the most recent successor edition; and the term Secretary means the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
