Section 276(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1326(a) ) is amended, in the undesignated matter following paragraph (2)(B), by striking shall be fined under title 18, United States Code, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both and inserting shall be imprisoned for not less than 5 years and may also be fined under title 18, United States Code .
