Section 312 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act ( 42 U.S.C. 5155 ) is amended by adding at the end the following: In this subsection, the term agency has the meaning given the term in section 552a of title 5, United States Code. Any action taken by an agency to prevent, investigate, or recover duplicative Federal assistance under this section shall not be subject to subsections (e)(12), (o), (q), (r), and
(u)of section 552a of title 5, United States Code. An investigation conducted by an agency relating to the fraudulent acquisition of duplicative Federal assistance under this section shall not be subject to section 552a(p) of title 5, United States Code. .
