Subsection (c)(3)(C) of section 127b of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking September 30, 2015 and inserting December 31, 2016 . Subsection (f)(2) of such section is amended— by striking subparagraph (D); by redesignating subparagraphs (E), (F), and (G), as subparagraphs (D), (E), and (F), respectively; and in subparagraph (D), as redesignated by paragraph (2), by inserting before the period at the end the following: , including in which countries the program is being operated .
Such section is further amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: Not later than 15 days after the date on which the Secretary designates a country as a country in which an operation or activity of the armed forces is occurring in connection with which rewards may be paid under this section, the Secretary shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives a report on the designation. Each report shall include the following:
The country so designated. The reason for the designation of the country. A justification for the designation of the country for purposes of this section. . The heading of such section is amended to read as follows: . The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 3 of such title is amended by striking the item relating to section 127b and inserting the following new item: 127b.
