Section 102 of the Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act of 2006 ( 43 U.S.C. 1331 note; Public Law 109–432 ) is amended by striking paragraph
(8)and inserting the following: The term Military Mission Line means the western border of the Eastern Planning Area extending from the State of Florida waters to the point that is 50 miles south in the Gulf of Mexico. . Section 104(a) of the Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act of 2006 ( 43 U.S.C. 1331 note; Public Law 109–432 ) is amended— in paragraph (2), by striking 125 and inserting 50 ; and by striking paragraph
(3)and inserting the following: any area in the Central Planning Area that is within— the 181 Area; or 50 miles off the coastline of the State of Florida. .
