Section 8013(5)(A) ( 20 U.S.C. 7713(5)(A) ) is amended— in clause (ii), by striking subclause
(III)and inserting the following: conveyed at any time under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act to a Native individual, Native group, or village or regional corporation (including single family occupancy properties that may have been subsequently sold or leased to a third party), except that property that is conveyed under such Act— that is not taxed is, for the purposes of this paragraph, considered tax-exempt due to Federal law; and is considered Federal property for the purpose of this paragraph if the property is located within a Regional Educational Attendance Area ; and in clause (iii)— in subclause (II), by striking Stewart B. McKinney Homeless Assistance Act and inserting McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act ( ; and 42 U.S.C. 11411 ) by striking subclause
(III)and inserting the following: used for affordable housing assisted under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 ( 25 U.S.C. 4101 et seq. ); or .
