Section 246(a)(2) of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 ( 42 U.S.C. 5656(a)(2) ) is amended— by striking subparagraph (A); by redesignating subparagraphs
(B)through
(E)as subparagraphs
(A)through (D), respectively; and in subparagraph (B)(ii), as redesignated, by striking subparagraph
(B)and inserting subparagraph
(A). Section 223(a)(7)(A) of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 ( 42 U.S.C. 5633(a)(7)(A) ) is amended by striking (including any geographical area in which an Indian tribe performs law enforcement functions) and inserting (including any geographical area of which an Indian tribe has jurisdiction) .
