Paragraph
(1)of section 8521(a) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by striking 90 days in the matter preceding subparagraph
(A)and inserting 180 days . The amendment made by subsection
(a)shall apply with respect to periods of Federal service commencing on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.
