Sec. 5005. Survey and report on spaceport development

Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General of the United States shall submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report on the existing system of spaceports licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration that includes recommendations regarding— the extent to which, and the manner in which, the Federal Government could participate in the construction, improvement, development, or maintenance of such spaceports; and potential funding sources.
