(a)of section 2008 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 ( 6 U.S.C. 609 ) is amended— by redesignating paragraphs
(9)through
(13)as paragraphs
(10)through (14), respectively; and by inserting after paragraph
(8)the following new paragraph: enhancing the security and preparedness of secure and nonsecure areas of eligible airports and surface transportation systems; .
