Section 9502(d)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended— in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking July 16, 2016 and inserting October 1, 2017 ; and in subparagraph (A), by striking the semicolon at the end and inserting or the FAA Extension, Safety, and Security Act of 2016; . Section 9502(e)(2) of such Code is amended by striking July 16, 2016 and inserting October 1, 2017 .
