Subpart 2 of part E of title IX ( 20 U.S.C. 7901 et seq. ) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 6301 et seq. ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Each State that receives assistance under this Act shall implement policies ensuring that a child in foster care who is changing schools can transfer school credits and receive partial credits for coursework satisfactorily completed while attending a prior school or educational program. .
