Section 1105(a)(35) of title 31, United States Code, is amended— by striking subparagraph
(B)and redesignating subparagraph
(C)as subparagraph (B); by striking homeland security in each instance it appears and inserting cybersecurity ; and by amending subparagraph
(B)(as redesignated by paragraph (1)) to read as follows: Prior to implementing this paragraph, including determining what Federal activities or accounts constitute cybersecurity for purposes of budgetary classification, the Office of Management and Budget shall consult with the Committees on Appropriations and the Committees on the Budget of the House of Representatives and the Senate, the Committee on Homeland Security of the House of Representatives, and the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs of the Senate. . The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall apply to budget submissions under section 1105(a) of title 31, United States Code, for fiscal year 2018 and each subsequent fiscal year.
