Notwithstanding sections 1603 and 1605 of title 10, United States Code, and subchapter III of chapter 59 of title 5, a civilian employee of the Defense Intelligence Agency who is assigned to a directorate of a geographic combatant command that is headquartered outside of the United States may not receive a living quarters allowance. Subsection
(a)shall apply with respect to a pay period beginning on or after the date that is one year after the date of the enactment of this Act.
