Section 721(b)(4) of the Defense Production Act of 1950 ( 50 U.S.C. 4565 ) is amended by adding at the end the following new subparagraphs: Not later than 5 days after the completion of a review or an investigation of a covered transaction under this subsection that concludes action under this section, the Director shall submit to the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives and the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate an analysis under subparagraph
(A)relating to such covered transaction previously provided to the Committee, including any supplements or amendments to such analysis made by the Director. Not later than 60 days after the completion of a review or an investigation of a covered transaction under this subsection that concludes action under this section, the Director shall determine whether the covered transaction will have an operational impact on the intelligence community, and, if so, shall submit a report on such impact to the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives and the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate. Each such report shall— describe the operational impact of the covered transaction on the intelligence community; and describe any actions that have been or will be taken to mitigate such impact. .
