Section 19 of the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1769a ) is amended— in the heading, by striking ; Fresh by striking fresh each place it appears in subsections (a), (b), and (e); and in subsection (i)— by striking paragraphs
(5)and (7); by redesignating paragraph
(6)as paragraph (5); and by adding at the end the following: The Secretary shall issue guidance that clarifies to States that funds under this program may be used on all forms of fruits and vegetables and is no longer limited to only fresh fruits and vegetables. .
