Section 219 of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009 ( Public Law 110–417 ; 10 U.S.C. 2358 note), as most recently amended by section 262 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014 ( Public Law 113–66 ), is amended— in subsection (a)(1), by striking not more than ; and by amending subsection
(d)to read as follows: For purposes of this section, a federally funded research and development center shall be considered a defense laboratory if the center is sponsored by the Department of Defense. .
