Subsection
(a)of section 1250 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 ( Public Law 114–92 ; 129 Stat. 1068) is amended— by striking Of the amounts and all that follows through the Secretary of Defense and inserting The Secretary of Defense ; and by inserting is authorized before to provide . Subsection
(c)of such section is amended— by striking paragraph (1); by redesignating paragraphs
(2)and
(3)as paragraphs
(1)and (2), respectively; in paragraph
(1)(as so redesignated)— by striking paragraph
(3)and inserting paragraph
(2); and by striking pursuant to subsection
(a)and inserting to carry out this section for a fiscal year ; and in paragraph
(2)(as so redesignated)— by striking paragraph
(2)and inserting paragraph
(1); and by striking commencing on the date that is six months after the date of the enactment of this Act .
