Sec. 1232. Military response options to Russian Federation violation of INF Treaty

An amount equal to $10,000,000 of the amount authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available to the Department of Defense for fiscal year 2017 to provide support services to the Executive Office of the President shall be withheld from obligation or expenditure until the Secretary of Defense— submits to the appropriate congressional committees the plan for the development of military capabilities as described in paragraph
(1)of section 1243(d) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 ( Public Law 114–92 ; 129 Stat. 1062); and carries out the development of capabilities pursuant to such plan in accordance with the requirements described in paragraph
(3)of such section. In this section, the term appropriate congressional committees has the meaning given such term in section 1243(e) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016.
