Sec. 1223. Extension and modification of authority to support operations and activities of the Office of Security Cooperation in Iraq

Subsection (f)(1) of section 1215 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 ( Public Law 112–81 ; 125 Stat. 1631; 10 U.S.C. 113 note), as most recently amended by section 1221 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 ( Public Law 114–92 ; 129 Stat. 1047), is further amended— by striking fiscal year 2016 and inserting fiscal year 2017 ; and by inserting , Iraqi Border Police, after Iraqi Ministry of Defense . Subsection
(a)of such section is amended by striking transition and inserting security . Such section, as so amended, is further amended— in subsection (c), by striking fiscal year 2016 and inserting fiscal year 2017 ; and in subsection (d), by striking fiscal year 2016 and inserting fiscal year 2017 .
