Section 455(d)(1) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1087e(d)(1) ) is amended— in subparagraph (D)— by inserting before the semicolon at the end the following: , and with respect to loans made on or after July 1, 2016, the revised pay as you earn repayment plan under section 493E shall be the only income contingent repayment plan ; and by striking and at the end; and in subparagraph (E), by inserting and only for loans made before July 1, 2016, after 2009, .
