Subsection
(o)of section 2991 of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 ( 42 U.S.C. 3797aa ), as redesignated by section 203, is amended— in paragraph (1)(C), by striking 2009 through 2014 and inserting 2016 through 2020 ; and by adding at the end the following: Not more than 20 percent of the funds authorized to be appropriated under this section may be used for purposes described in subsection
(j)(relating to veterans). . Section 1001(a) of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 ( 42 U.S.C. 3793(a) ) is amended— in paragraph (20), by striking 2001 through 2004 and inserting 2016 through 2020 ; and in paragraph (26), by striking 2009 and 2010 and inserting 2016 through 2020 .
