Subject to subsections
(b)and (c), title I of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (including the amendments made by such title) shall not apply (and the provisions of law amended by such title are restored as if such title had not been enacted) in the case of any State that does not have in effect the election described in section 101(a)(1). Subsection
(a)shall not apply with respect to the following: Section 2711 of the Public Health Service Act (relating to no lifetime or annual limits). Section 2714 of such Act (relating to extension of dependent coverage). Subsection
(a)shall not apply with respect to health insurance coverage in a State that has in effect the election described in section 101(a)(1).
