The Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 ( 42 U.S.C. 5601 et seq. ) is amended by adding at the end the following: There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this Act— $262,500,000 for fiscal year 2016; $267,750,000 for fiscal year 2017; $273,105,000 for fiscal year 2018; $278,565,000 for fiscal year 2019; and $284,130,000 for fiscal year 2020, and for each succeeding fiscal year. Not more than 10 percent of the amount made available under subsection
(a)for a fiscal year may be used for mentoring programs. Not more than 10 percent of the amount made available under subsection
(a)for a fiscal year may be used to carry out part G of title II. . The Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 is amended by striking— section 299 ( 42 U.S.C. 5671 ); section 388 ( 42 U.S.C. 5751 ); section 408 ( 42 U.S.C. 5777 ); and section 505 ( 42 U.S.C. 5784 ).
