Section 12409 of the Federal Ocean Acidification Research and Monitoring Act of 2009 ( 33 U.S.C. 3708 ) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking this subtitle and all that follows through 2012 and inserting $20,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 2016 through 2019 ; and in subsection (b), by striking this subtitle and all that follows through 2012 and inserting $15,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 2016 through 2019 .
