The Secretary of Health and Human Services may facilitate the identification of programs to educate and train health professionals and school personnel in effective strategies to— identify individuals with eating disorders; provide early intervention services for individuals with eating disorders; refer patients with eating disorders for appropriate treatment; prevent the development of eating disorders; or provide appropriate treatment services for individuals with eating disorders.
