Section 1024 of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. ) is amended— in subsection (c)— in paragraph (1), by inserting , Hispanic-serving institutions, and after universities ; and in the subsection heading for such subsection, by striking and inserting historically black ; and certain minority-Serving in subsection (g)— by redesignating paragraph
(5)as paragraph (6); and by inserting after paragraph
(4)the following new paragraph (5): The term Hispanic-serving institution has the meaning given that term in section 502(a)(5) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1101a(a)(5) ). .
