Section 1923(f) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1396r–4(f) ) is amended— in paragraph (7)(A)— in clause (i), by striking 2017 through 2024 and inserting 2018 through 2025 ; by striking clause
(ii)and inserting the following new clause: The aggregate reductions in DSH allotments for all States under clause (i)(I) shall be equal to— $2,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2018; $3,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2019; $4,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2020; $5,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2021; $6,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2022; $7,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2023; $8,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2024; and $8,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2025. ; and by adding at the end the following new clause: The Secretary shall distribute the aggregate reductions under clause
(ii)among States in accordance with subparagraph (B). ; and in paragraph (8), by striking 2024 and inserting 2025 .
