The Secretary of Commerce shall seek to enter into an agreement with the United States Digital Service within 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, under which the Service shall make recommendations to modernize and streamline the fishery data collection, processing, analysis, and storage systems of the National Marine Fisheries Service. Under the agreement, the Secretary shall provide the United States Digital Service with access to all data collection, processing, analysis, and storage systems of the National Marine Fisheries Service and any other information necessary to enable the development of recommendations that will ensure the optimization and modernization of such systems.
The Secretary shall implement any recommendations made by the United States Digital Service.
