In this Act— the term STEM means the subjects of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics; the term STEM education means education in the subjects of STEM, including computer science; and the term Committee on STEM Education means the Committee on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education established under section 101 of the America COMPETES Reauthorization Act of 2010 ( 42 U.S.C. 6621 ).
