It is the Sense of Congress that, to support the nuclear deterrence requirements of the United States Strategic Command and ensure the credibility and reliability of the nuclear-capable air launched cruise missiles of the United States, Congress supports efforts by the Secretary of Defense to validate military requirements and make a Milestone A decision on the long-range standoff weapon. Not later than May 31, 2016, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report on the outcome of Milestone A decision for the long-range standoff weapon.
