Chapter 1209 of title 10, United States Code, is further amended by inserting after section 12323, as added by section 521(7) of this Act, the following new subchapter: Any reference that is made in any law, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to inactive-duty training, as such term applies to members of the reserve components of the uniformed services, shall be deemed to be a reference to inactive duty. In this subsection the term uniformed services has the meaning given the term in section 101(a)(5) of title 10, United States Code.
