Section 706 of the Firearms Control Regulations Act of 1975 (sec. 7–2507.06, D.C. Official Code) is amended— by striking except that and all that follows through A person who knowingly and inserting the following: except that a person who knowingly ; and by striking paragraphs
(2)and (3). The amendment made by subsection
(a)shall apply with respect to any violation that occurs after the date that is 60 days after the date of enactment of this Act.
