Section 1419B of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 ( 7 U.S.C. 3156 ) is amended— in subsection (a)— in paragraph (1), by striking (or grants without regard to any requirement for competition) ; and in paragraph (3), by striking 2012 and inserting 2018 ; and in subsection (b)(1), by striking (or grants without regard to any requirement for competition) ; and in paragraph (3), by striking 2012 and inserting 2018 .
