Chapter 43 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section: Whoever, being an officer or employee of the United States or of any department or agency thereof, discriminates against any person on the basis of any information reported under section 304 or 354 of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 shall be fined under this title 18, or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and shall be removed from office or employment. .
