Section 101(a) of division A of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 ( Public Law 111–5 ; 123 Stat. 120; 124 Stat. 2394; 124 Stat. 3265) is amended by striking paragraph

(2)and inserting the following: The authority provided by this subsection shall terminate after February 1, 2013. .
